Poster Submission Guidelines

File Specifications

• File format: PDF or PPT/PPTX (as specified by portal — PDF usually preferred for e-poster hubs).
• Orientation: Portrait (vertical), unless organizers specify landscape.
• Dimensions: Typically A0 size — 84.1 cm (W) × 118.9 cm (H), or as per portal template.
• Resolution: Minimum 150–300 DPI for print-quality clarity on screen.
• File size: Within portal's upload limit (commonly 5–10 MB).

Layout Sections

The poster layout should mirror the structure of the submitted abstract.

• Header band: Title (large, bold, readable from approximately 2 metres), author names with the presenting author underlined, institution / affiliation, and conference logo placement at the top corners as per the template.
• Introduction / Background
• Materials & Methods
• Results: Tables, graphs, charts and clinical images are appropriate in this section.
• Conclusion
• References: Optional; use a smaller font and position them near the bottom of the poster.
• Contact / QR Code: Optional — may link to the full paper, video or author email.

Design Guidelines

• Font: Use a sans-serif font such as Arial or Calibri for readability on screen.
• Title: Minimum recommended size of 72 pt.
• Headings: Minimum recommended size of 36 pt.
• Body text: Minimum recommended size of 24 pt.
• Colour scheme: Use high contrast, such as dark text on a light background or light text on a dark background.
• Avoid pure red / green combinations for improved visibility and colour-blind accessibility.
• Keep text blocks minimal. Use bullet points, flowcharts and images rather than dense paragraphs.
• Maintain consistent alignment and spacing across all sections and avoid unnecessary clutter.
